“X Marks the Spot” iPod Photography Contest
West Des Moines, IA (May 27, 2005) -- Mediafour, publisher of XPlay software for iPods, and leading iPod information resource iPodlounge.com today announced a joint photography contest for iPod users. The “X Marks the Spot” photo contest will run for four weeks, and invites iPod fans to submit creative photographs of their iPods at each week’s themed location.
The first theme will be announced today at iPodlounge.com. Each theme will be open for submissions for one week, and a winner will be selected from each week’s entries. Photos will be judged on the creative depiction of iPods in keeping with each week’s theme.
Three winners will receive both an XPlay software package for the iPod and a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate. A grand prize winner will be chosen from among all weeks’ entries, and will be awarded the grand prize of both XPlay software and a $500 Amazon.com gift certificate. The winners will be selected after all submissions have been received.
Contest Rules
No purchase necessary to enter. Participants may enter only one photo per week. Deadlines for entry are as follows: Week one ends Friday, June 3 at 11:59pm PT; Week two ends Friday, June 10 at 11:59pm PT; Week three ends Friday, June 17 at 11:59pm PT; Week four ends Friday, June 24 at 11:59pm PT.
